Chikondi Orphan Care was created in 2004 by Margaret Mbwana, in Lilongwe Malawi.
Margaret lost her own children through HIV/AIDS and had to take on responsibility for her grandchildren with all the stigma associated with this. She wanted to help other orphans in the same situation and Chikondi Orphan care was created.
